The Last Pages is a participatory installation which consists of nine tables. Each table has a quotation in reverse (laser-cut into plywood, so the text elevates from the surface) from last page of a book in which a character dies in the end. Next to the quotation is a pile of transparent parchment papers and black chalk. In order to read the quotation, the viewer must take one paper, place it on top of the elevated text, rub the chalk onto the paper in parts where the text lies underneath. Due to transparency of the parchment paper, the text is now readable on the other side. The installation suggest the death of an author through the participation of the viewer.
